Dr. Satwinder S. Marwaha is a seasoned academic and policy leader with over three decades of experience in biotechnology, environmental management, and cooperative governance. Currently serving as Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board, he has made significant contributions to policy-making, pollution control, and sustainable development.

Before this role, Dr. Marwaha served as CEO of Punjab Biotechnology Incubator, Director of Biotechnology at PSCST – Govt. of Punjab, and held senior academic positions at Punjabi University Patiala and Central University of Punjab. His career bridges the worlds of education, research, and public policy, making him a valuable advisor to UAMMCL in strengthening sustainable cooperative models.
